Flavour profile

An exceptional taste experience

This is a reposado tequila, which means it’s been aged in American oak casks for 7 months. It has all of the characteristics of a ‘white’ or blanco tequila, but with a heavy dose of caramel, which gives it a wonderful aroma. The end result? A lovely, sippable tequila.

AROMA

Wonderful oaky, spicy caramel notes.

APPEARANCE

Light caramel colour.

PALATE

Hints of caramel and cocoa, roasted agave and buttery vanilla.

FINISH

Smooth at the front, with a full-bodied smoke on the finish.

A bit of history

Casamigos started as an idea between George Clooney and two of his friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman to create the best-tasting, smoothest tequila.

When setting out to create the brand, the vision was simple: a smooth tequila that didn't need salt or lime to cover the taste. Working with experts in Jalisco for years, the end result is exactly that.

The small batch, ultra-premium Casamigos equilas are made from the finest hand-selected 100% Blue Weber agaves, grown in the rich clay soil of Mexico. The agave piñas are then slowly roasted in a process that includes traditional brick ovens. The end result of this painstakingly slow process? A unique tequila that's perfect straight from the bottle or mixed into a poolside Paloma.
